Oldham care homes now using digital tracker to monitor COVID-19 symptoms Date published: 27 February 2021 The COVID-19 tracker is now in use in 138 care homes across eight localities in Greater Manchester More than 130 care homes across Greater Manchester - including a number in Oldham - are now using an innovative digital symptom tracker to monitor COVID-19 and support 4,000 vulnerable residents. The COVID-19 tracker app allows care home staff to input information about a resident’s COVID-19 related symptoms into a tracker, which can be shared directly with the resident’s GP and NHS community response team to ensure that a swift assessment and response can be put in place.
