Anti-lockdown protester Debbie Hicks has been arrested after allegedly filming a video at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. Hicks - who was one of the organisers of Stroud Freedom Rally in November - shared the video on social media and claimed it showed that the hospital was not busy with Covid patients. The 46-year-old, who also spoke at the November rally, posted the video to Facebook on Sunday, saying that it showed that the hospital was not at all busy, and questioning why the county had been placed into Tier 3. The video has since been shared more than 4,000 times. In response, Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust issued a statement saying: Contrary to what you may have seen through secret filming, our hospitals are and remain extremely busy.

Woman Arrested for Filming Inside Empty Hospital in Gloucestershire

31 Dec 2020 Police in England have arrested a woman in connection with a video of an allegedly “empty” hospital in Gloucestershire that was posted on social media. Gloucestershire Constabulary police officers arrested the woman on Tuesday, on suspicion of a supposed “public order offence“. The 46-year-old woman has been bailed until January on the condition that she does not enter any NHS facility except for a health emergency or appointment, according to the local news outlet Gloucestershire  Live. In the video posted on social media, the woman is heard saying: “Where’s the second wave? Where’re all the people dying from the second wave?” as she wanders through the largely deserted corridors of the hospital.
