EDWARDSVILLE A Troy woman faces drug- and weapons-related charges after a Tuesday incident.
Alexandra R. Stacey, 27, of Troy, was charged June 9 with unlawful possession of a stolen firearm, a Class 2 felony; unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony; and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, a Class 4 felony.
The case was presented by the Glen Carbon Police Department.
According to court documents, on June 8 Stacey allegedly was found to be in possession of a stolen Taurus 740 Slim .40 caliber handgun, without a Firearm Owners Identification Card and less than five grams of methamphetamine.

EDWARDSVILLE A Venice man was charged with felony weapon and drug violations Friday.
Frank E. Brown, 24, of Venice, was charged May 14 with unlawful possession of weapons by a felon, and unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, both Class 3 felonies.
The case was presented by the Venice Police Department.
According to court documents, on May 13 Brown allegedly was found to be in possession of more than 30 grams of cannabis with intent to deliver, and a Taurus 9 mm handgun.
Brown has a prior conviction for possession with intent to deliver out of Madison County in 2019, making him ineligible to possess weapons.

Burglary, theft charges filed Wednesday

Cases filed April 7 include:
• Steven M. Littler, 31, and Jacqueline A. Williamson, 32, both of St. Louis, were each charged with burglary and retail theft over $300, both Class 3 felonies. The case was presented by the Granite City Police Department. According to court documents, on Oct. 5 the two allegedly entered a locked display cabinet at the Granite City Walmart, 379 W. Pontoon Road, to commit theft, and took in excess of $300 worth of video games and two storage totes. Bail was set at $20,000 each.
• Jennifer J. Schuetz, 42, of Wood River, and Craig K. Miller, 45, of Wood River, were both charged with unlawful use of credit card, both Class 4 felonies. The cases were presented by the Wood River Police Department. On Oct. 6 the two allegedly used the credit card of another person to obtain clothing and household items valued less than $300. Bail was set at $15,000 eac
