CLOVIS, N.M. (KFDA) - A 15-year-old is in police custody after an investigation into a reported weapon at the Clovis High School campus.
According to police, the department received a call around 8:30 a.m. about a 15-year-old who had reportedly taken a firearm to the school.
Police interviewed the juvenile who said he did not bring a firearm to school.
Officers did not find a firearm.
The juvenile was taken into custody on an unrelated District Court arrest warrant and taken to the Bernalillo County Juvenile Detention Center in Albuquerque.
