A new campaign is encouraging residents to support their favourite local businesses this summer.
Voting is open until June 13 at midnight for the ‘Best of the Bay,’ hosted by the Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board. Categories include: food/drink, accommodation, shop/service, regionscape and art/culture.
Nominations are only eligible for businesses in Napanee, Belleville, Brighton, Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte, and Quinte West.
Voters can enter until to 10 ballots, which will also be entered to win $1,000 to spend at the winning businesses.
The winning businesses will be announced at the end of next month on the Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board’s social media pages/newsletters.

Quinte residents are invited to vote for their favourite local businesses in a new contest by the area’s regional marketing board.
The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board’s Best of the Bay campaign asks people to select their top choices in five categories: food and drink, accommodation, shop or service, “regionscape,” and art and culture.

Each may enter as many as 10 choices. Each entry earns you a ballot to be entered in a draw for $1,000 in spending at the winning businesses.
