As vaccination appointments opened in Montreal for those over 65 years old, Quebec reported Friday that 296,143 people have now tested positive for COVID-19 in the province and 10,526 people have died since the start of the pandemic. Quebec has administered 648,663 vaccines.

The province reported Sunday that the number of COVID-19 patients in Quebec hospitals dropped below 600 for the first time since the fall. There were nine fewer people receiving care in the province s hospitals than there were 24 hours ago, for a total of 592.
Quebec reported Saturday that 291,924 people have now tested positive for COVID-19 in the province, and 10,465 people have died due to the disease since the pandemic began.
