New Brunswick’s three Quebec Major Junior Hockey League teams will remain off the ice for the foreseeable future. League officials say the province and Public Health have delayed their return to regular activities until the COVID situation improves. They are expected to return to the ice later this week after receiving approval from Public Health officials in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. The league has posted an updated schedule including Halifax, Cape Breton and Charlottetown for the upcoming month.

What will Conor Garland s next contract with the Coyotes look like?

Photo by Norm Hall/NHLI via Getty Images Having just begun what will likely be his second full NHL season, Conor Garland looks to be making a decent case for himself as the Arizona Coyotes’ top offensive player. Through six games, Garland leads the Coyotes with six points (two goals, four assists). Last season, he finished third on the team with 39 points in 68 games and paced the club with 22 goals. Garland has seen his value increase each year after the Coyotes made him their fifth-round selection in the 2015 Draft. He recorded an astounding 257 points in his final 129 games with the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League before turning professional to begin the 2016-17 season.
