(Contributed/DOH) + April 08, 2021 A TOTAL of 136 doctors and nurses from the regions have been assigned to 10 hospitals in the National Capital Region (NCR) to augment the medical workforce attending to the increasing number of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) patients. The Department of Health (DOH) said the first batch of medical workers consisted of 42 doctors and nurses from Ilocos, Calabarzon and Bicol regions.

Private sector launches resilience program for hospitals, healthcare workers

CALOOCAN CITY, March 4 (PIA)  The Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF)’s Project K3 recently launched a special mentorship program on public service continuity to help local healthcare workers minimize delays in the delivery of life-saving services during disasters.  The launch was held in a virtual orientation that brought together key representatives from five cities in Metro Manila (Navotas, Pasig, Parañaque, Taguig, Valenzuela) and seven hospitals (Philippine General Hospital, Ospital ng Makati, Quirino Memorial Medical Center, Medical City, PNP General Hospital, Cotabato Sanitarium, Diliman Doctors Hospital) to participate in a series of self-paced courses and webinars in the next coming months.
