Microsoft s official Xbox Wireless Headset is one of the best value wireless headsets for PCs and Xbox consoles alike, and it s finally back in stock at Currys PC World after months of unavailability. If you use code
GAMINGFND3, you can also get it for £5 off with free next-day delivery, dropping it to an attractive £85. If you re playing on Xbox and PC, or on PC with an Xbox controller, it s a very solid pickup for the money.
The XWH (as I affectionately call it) ticks a lot of boxes when it comes to wireless headsets. It s comfortable, with a lightweight design and moderate clamping force, its battery lasts for a solid 15 hours and it s pretty good at blocking out distracting noises. Its controls are great too, with the entire right ear cup rotating to serve as a volume dial and the left earcup adjusting the mix between your two (simultaneous!) inputs. This dual connection is a pretty rare feature on headsets of this price rang
Back at E3 2015, I was sat down for Microsoft’s briefing, waiting in anticipation to see which exciting new games I would be spending the next year emptying my wallet for. So when Phil Spencer got to the stage to announce something new and unique for console users, we had no idea the next thing we would see light up the show would be the Xbox One Elite Controller. With an elegant and sleek look alongside customisable features, it immediately become an in demand product. So when E3 2016 rolled around, the announcement of an improved look to coincide with the release of one of the greatest franchises in Xbox history blew it out the park for me.

Remapping a video game’s buttons is an important feature that can make gaming sessions more comfortable, make
you a better gamer, and open the experience to new players. Unfortunately, not all games support customisable controls, and some only offer a limited range of options. And even if a game does offer robust input adjustments, changing the settings in
every game gets tedious.
Luckily, almost every modern gaming platform includes native accessibility options to remap controls across all the games and apps you use on the device even those that don’t normally support customised inputs.
