Pakistan to become strong with provision of swift, cheap justice to people: Sarwar April 08, 2021 Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that Pakistan will become strong with provision of swift and cheap justice to people. He was talking during meeting with Provincial Ombudsman Punjab, Azam Suleman in Lahore, during which Provincial Ombudsman presented his Department s annual report to the Governor. Governor said that decrease in ratio of complaints filing in province is a welcome development. He said that injustice against anybody will not be tolerated. He said that our constitution guarantees protection of every citizen s basic rights and provision of indiscriminate justice to all and no negligence will be tolerated from the concerned departments in this regard.

Daily Times April 5, 2021 Students of Islamia University Bahawalpur FATA have called off their 16-day sit-in outside Governor’s House Lahore after successful negotiation with Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar and Deputy Chairman Senate Mirza Muhammad Afridi. Meanwhile, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar announced scholarships for 1000 students annually including 200 girls from FATA, and also announced to set up Punjab University sub-campus in FATA and Government College University, Lahore sub-campus in Gilgit. According to details, students of Islamia University Bahawalpur of FATA held talks with Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar at Governor’s House Lahore on Sunday regarding their demands.   LAHORE, Apr. 5 (Gwadar pro)- Chairman China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority Lt. General Asim Saleem Bajwa (retd) said on Sunday afternoon that Iron Brother China was providing research and machinery assistance to increase cotton production.   Chairman CPEC Authority Asim Saleem Bajwa, Minister for Agriculture Syed Hasnain Jahanian Gardezi, and others participated in the meeting of the committee chaired by Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar here at the Governor’s House, said an official statement. Bajwa said the CPEC Authority was keen on facilitating farmers by assisting in various sectors.   “Cotton and textiles account for 8pc of Pakistan s economy and we must all work together to strengthen Pakistan s economy,” he added.
