Tech-U VC, DVC bag climate change research awards

The Vice-Chancellor of the First Technical University, Ibadan, Prof. Ayobami Salami, will on Wednesday receive the ‘Champion in Climate Change Research’ award.
According to a statement on Monday, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Adesola Ajayi, will also receive the award, alongside 15 other scholars who have worked in various areas of climate change.
The award, according to the statement is to be given at the event holding at the University of Ibadan in recognition of their services on Climate Change Research.
“This award is supported by the Association of Commonwealth Universities, UK, under CIRCLE Programme being funded by DFID, UK,” the organisers said in the statement.

UNITAR and Mount Kenya University are joining forces to empower people and transform lives
