Coronavirus travel insurance: who will cover me? – Which? News

Our research has found that a lack of clarity around this from insurers could leave consumers confused and out of pocket, as international travel reopens from today. Many insurance customers have been left with a false impression of their insurer’s level of protection for Covid-related disruption. Some of this could stem from the use of often-confusing blanket terms such as ‘Covid cover’ and ‘enhanced Covid cover’ on insurers’ websites. If you’re planning a trip to a ‘green list’ country this year, Covid-19 could still wreck your plans, so it’s important to get the best insurance you can.
