Letters: Let s work at keeping South Bend streets clean

To those who are in charge: It sure would be nice if the people of South Bend would take pride in moving their bins from the curbs back to the side of their house or someplace that would not make our streets look like the dump. I am sure there is an ordinance that forbids the bins from being left at the curb. Let’s all get involved, call the Code Enforcement and write the mayor. This is our city, and if we can’t have alley pickups, let’s work at keeping our streets clean. On any given day you can count 28 to 35 bins on Johnson Street. Come on, people. Come on, Code Enforcement.
