Chinese police have uncovered the world s biggest online video game cheat sales syndicate, netting luxury cars and millions of dollars in cryptocurrency during a string of arrests.
Key points:
One was nabbed with more than $5 million in cryptocurrency and luxury cars
Data shows there were 2.5 billion gamers playing in 2019 and they spent a total of $199.2 billion that year alone

Peng Bo, the deputy director of China’s Gestapo-like secret state police, has been dismissed from his role and is under investigation, the Chinese regime announced on March 13.
Peng, 62, has become the first high-ranking Chinese Communist Party (CCP) official, known as “tigers,” to be ensnared in party politics since the March 11 conclusion of the regime’s most important annual political conference: its “Two Sessions” meeting.

Ding Guiying, a female resident of Kunming city, in China’s southwestern Yunnan Province, was secretly sentenced to jail for her beliefs in Falun Gong and recently died in detention, according to a Feb. 9 report by Minghui.org, a U.S.-based website that tracks the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is an ancient Chinese spiritual practice consisting of simple, slow-moving meditation exercises and teachings based on the principles of truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance. It grew in popularity during the 1990s, with 70 million to 100 million adherents in China by the end of the decade, according to official estimates at the time.
