STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Once allies in state government, Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis and State Sen. Diane Savino had a heated back-and-forth on social media Wednesday that highlighted their divergence on both policy and politics.
Savino (D-North Shore/Brooklyn) was first to post on her Facebook page, railing against Malliotakis (R-Staten Island/South Brooklyn) for voting against the Protecting the Right to Organize Act, which passed in the House of Representatives on Tuesday.
