Author: WTOL Newsroom Updated: 1:45 PM EDT April 20, 2021 FREMONT, Ohio An active meth lab was discovered and dismantled in Sandusky County s Green Creek Township on Monday after an investigation by the Sandusky County Drug Task Force and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.  As a result of an investigation into the manufacture of methamphetamines at a residence in the 2700 block of Finefrock Road, a search warrant was executed at the address on Monday. No one was at the residence when agents arrived. 

Drug Task Force busts meth lab in Green Creek Township

Staff report GREEN CREEK TOWNSHIP - Charges are pending following the bust of a meth lab on Finefrock Road in Green Creek Township Monday. Agents from the Sandusky County Drug Task Force and Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation descended on the home at 2704 Finefrock Road where they discovered an active meth lab. Evidence of a prior meth lab, other drug paraphernalia, and several guns and ammunition were discovered during the search. No one was present at the home at the time of the raid but charges are pending through a future grand jury, Sandusky County Prosecutor Beth Tischler said in a news release.

Diante Pettiford was approached outside his residence where officers found drugs and cash.
