Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], April 25 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday facilitated the provision of a tanker carrying 16 tonnes of oxygen to the Medanta Hospital in Lucknow, which was facing an oxygen shortage.
The step has been taken upon a request made by Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra over a telephone to deal with the crisis of oxygen in the hospital.
Baghel tweeted that he had been informed on the phone by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra about the oxygen shortage and sent the tanker.

Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], April 25 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has written a letter to Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan, requesting to determine the minimum price of COVID-19 vaccine so that the entire country can avail it at the same rates.
In the letter, the Chief Minister has welcomed the Centre s decision to vaccinate citizens of age above 18 years against coronavirus, said an official statement on Saturday.
He said: Serum Institute has informed that they will supply vaccines at the rate of Rs 400 per vaccine to the state governments and at Rs 600 per vaccine to private hospitals. The states are expected to take action for procurement of the vaccine through tender or negotiation. I

Chhattisgarh: CM Bhupesh Baghel writes to PM Modi, seeks uniform rates for vaccines

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking immediate information on the availability and cost of vaccines for the Stateâs third phase of the COVID-19 vaccination drive commencing on May 1.
The CM mentioned in his letter said that in light of the Centreâs decision to make everyone above 18 years of age eligible for vaccination, the state government has decided to arrange free of cost vaccines for its people.
As there are only a few days left for commencement of the third phase of vaccination drive, the Chief Minister has urged the Centre to provide the requisite information. It is necessary to prepare a detailed action plan before organising vaccination drives on such a vast scale, he noted.
