Farmers of Chhattisgarh and Gujarat join tractor rally in Delhi on Republic Day

Raipur: To register protest against the three controversial farm laws, farmers of Chhattisgarh and Gujarat will jointly stage demonstrations at many places on Delhi borders on Republic Day.
Thousands of farmers from Chhattisgarh have already reached the Delhi borders.
Farmer leader Sudesh Tikam along with one hundred farmers of Rajnandgaon district have already reached the Delhi border on Monday to join the tractor rally.
While Speaking to the Free Press Journal, Sudesh Tikam said,â One thousands of farmers from Chhattisgarh have already reached the Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur borders and a good number of peasants are still coming to join the protest on Republic Day.

Guwahati: The Congress initiative of forming a Grand Alliance to oust the Bharatiya Janata Party from power in Assam took shape on Tuesday with the party announcing it will contest the forthcoming assembly polls in alliance with five other political outfits.
The Congress will join hands with the All India United Democratic Front, the Communist Party of India, the Communist Party of India-Marxist, Communist Party of India-Marxist Leninist and the Anchalik Gana Morcha to ensure that the BJP with its anti-people policies does not return to power, Assam Pradesh Congress Committee president Ripun Bora told reporters in Guwahati.

Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], January 18 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday announced that the Telghani Board will be formed in the state to provide employment opportunities to the people of rural areas.
Speaking at divisional level youth introduction conference, Baghel announced Rs 20 lakhs for construction of social buildings in five districts of Raipur division- Raipur, Mahasamund, Dhamtari, Gariaband, Balodabazar. With the formation of the Telghani Board, the people of rural areas will get employment opportunities. Sahu community has always shown direction in terms of social awareness. Even in the pandemic period, all communities including Sahu, came forward and performed their social responsibilities well, he said.

Raipur: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Monday flagged off a truck loaded with ration and money for farmers staging a demonstration in Delhi against the Union governmentâs recently passed three farm bills.
From his official residence in Raipur, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel flagged off a truck loaded with ration and money collected by NSUI members, a government official said.
Chhattisgarh NSUI members had launched a campaign âek rupiya daan ek paili dhaanâ (one rupee donation, about 2.33 kg paddy). The NSUI members had collected 53 tonnes of paddy and cash Rs 66,500 that were sent to the protesting farmers.
