Lincolnshire Police warning over delivery scams  | Updated: 17:44, 17 December 2020 Police are issuing a warning about a parcel delivery scam in the run-up to Christmas. The force has received a number of reports about phishing emails and texts, purporting to be from parcel delivery companies, claiming that they have been unable to deliver parcels, packages or large letters. Then they ask the recipient to pay a fee or provide additional details in order to rearrange the delivery. Lincolnshire Police (42190575) Fake delivery notices are also posted through letterboxes in an attempt to gather more information about the recipient, which is later used to defraud them.
