Seylan Bank Appoints Ramesh Jayasekara as Chief Operating Officer

Seylan Bank PLC has appointed Ramesh Jayasekara as its Chief Operating Officer with effect from the 1
st of January, 2021, the bank announced recently.
A banker with international exposure, Ramesh Jayasekara served as the Deputy Regional Financial Controller of the French Banking giant BNP Paribas, in the Middle East Region based in Bahrain prior to joining Seylan Bank. He joined the Bank as the Chief Financial Officer in 2011, and subsequently held many senior positions in the Bank including Chief Risk Officer in 2016, Deputy General Manager, Corporate Banking in 2018 and was appointed Senior Deputy General Manager in 2019.

Subway Has Launched A Brand-New Vegan Sub Subway
Earlier this year Subway revealed its meatless meatball marinara will be a permanent fixutre on the menu, a completely veggie substitute to its meaty counterpart meatball marinara. So non-meat fans will be glad to hear that another vegan sub is joining the menu.
From today (30 Dec) Subway is expanding its plant-based menu – introducing the vegan T.L.C. (Tastes Like Chicken) Sub AND Vegan Double Choc Cookie.
The plant-based T.L.C. Sub is packed with all the delicious flavour of the original, made with a bespoke recipe designed to mimic Subway’s roast chicken breast strips - but apparently tastes so much like the real thing that both plant and meat-lovers should give it a try.
