Council of Eurasian Economic Commission to consider coordinated customs control in EAEU
MOSCOW, 3 March (BelTA) – The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission will consider the matter of coordinated organization of customs control in the Eurasian Economic Union on 5 March, BelTA has learned.
A regular session of the Eurasian Economic Commission s Council will take place on 5 March. Over 20 items are on the agenda, including the creation of a Eurasian registry of pharmacologically active substances, the coordinated organization of customs control, and the technological organizational model of the system designed to mark goods with means of identification.

It is noted that for the first time the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov took part in the Council meeting as a representative of the observer state. The Council mooted foreign trade, customs and technical regulation and international cooperation topics. In particular, the basic model of the system for marking goods by means of identification in the EAEU was approved, which establishes the procedure and interaction mechanism between the countries of the association that have introduced marking in their territories, and the countries of the EAEU that have not introduced marking in their territories.
