Students in Cuttack celebrate after the ICSE results were declared on Saturday
BHUBANESWAR: Students of Odisha recorded a pass percentage of 99.98% and 99.83% in the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) or Class X and the Indian School Certificate (ISC) or Class XII board exams, respectively. Their results were announced by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on Saturday.
As many as 8,935 students, including 4,068 girls, had registered for the Class X examination from 92 schools in Odisha. Both boys and girls achieved a pass percentage of 99.98%.
A total of 1,813 students, including 867 girls, had registered for the Class XII examinations from 25 schools across Odisha. Girls fared better than the boys with a pass percentage of 99.88%. Boys achieved a pass percentage of 99.79%. The council had cancelled the boards for both Classes X and XII this year in the wake of a sudden surge in Covid-19 cases. CBSE 10th, 12th Result 2021: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to declare Class Xth and XIIth result 2021 by the end of this month. As per the Supreme Court order CBSE 10th and 12th results must be declared before July 31, 2021. Accordingly, the CBSE, CISCE and all state boards must declare the board exam results on or before the due date set by the apex court.
Students therefore should hope that CBSE Class 12th and 10th result will be declared this week.

The ICSE 2021 results will also be available via SMS. To receive the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class X (Class 10th) 2021 exam results by SMS, the candidate will require to type ICSE followed by their seven digit unique ID code and send the message to 09248082883.
ICSE Class 10 exam on the other hand was scheduled to start on May 4 and end on June 7, 2021. It too was
cancelled due to the second wave of the pandemic.
The result is therefore prepared based on internal assessment and as per the Supreme Court of India guidelines. Like last year, the council will not release this year too Merit List and toppers details of ICSE 10th 2021 exam.
