The Department of Education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford has achieved full accreditation, meeting all requirements from the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
CAEP is the national accrediting agency for teacher preparation programs. To achieve accreditation, faculty and partners in the SWOSU Department of Education provided evidence of meeting CAEP’s rigorous standards to ensure candidates are highly qualified and competent teachers by utilizing valid data from multiple measures.
A CAEP site-visit team verified all evidence submitted through review of assessments, evidence and interviews with current and former students, faculty, administration and clinical partners in P-12 schools.

Educational Technology at UCM Ranked Number One Nationally
Intelligent.com has ranked the University of Central Missouri’s online Master of Science in Educational Technology as number one nationwide.
The ranking comes at an imperative time for educational technology as many schools have begun to implement new technologies and more advanced ways to teach, especially in a year of pandemic.
