Emma Stone set for Safdie Brothers comedy series The Curse
THR is reporting that Emma Stone is heading to Showtime to star in
The Curse, a comedy series from the Safdie Brothers, the filmmaking duo behind Good Times and Uncut Gems.
Co-created by Benny Safdie and Nathan Fielder (
Nathan For You), both of whom will also star, the series is described as “genre-bending scripted comedy that explores how an alleged curse disturbs the relationship of a newly married couple (Fielder and Stone) as they try to conceive a child while co-starring on their problematic new HGTV show.”
