FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Peace River Regional District sent an alert Thursday that the Boundary Lake water station at 1105 Cecil Lake Road has been closed for the next 24 hours.
Residents are asked to use the Feye Spring water station instead, located at 1863 Imperial Avenue.

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – The Peace River Regional District board has approved a budget reduction for 2021.
The reduction of 7.13 per cent, which equals $6.8 million, will take the PRRD budget to just under $88.9 million.

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. -The Peace River Regional District is looking to get feedback regarding the Regional Solid Waste Management Plan (RSWMP) and will be holding 16 virtual open houses for Peace Region members.
The PRRD has been working on the RSWMP to help address local issues and managing waste in a safe, cost-effective way.
The virtual open houses will be taking place from April 19th until May 6th. Eleven open houses will be for the general public while Saulteau First Nations, Doig River First Nations, Blueberry River First Nations, West Moberly First Nations, and Halfway River First Nations will have their own virtual open houses.
