Election will grow director count to 17
Decosta Jenkins
The directors of Pinnacle Financial Partners have elected longtime Nashville Electric Service President and CEO Decosta Jenkins to join them at the beginning of March. Jenkins will be the bank holding company’s 17th board member.
Jenkins joined NES in 1991 as a senior vice president and CFO after working for more than a decade at Deloitte. He was named CEO in 2004 and has since overseen the utility’s growth to $1.4 billion in revenues.
“Decosta is one of Nashville’s most prominent civic and business leaders, and we’re thrilled to add his deep well of knowledge and experience to our board,” Pinnacle President and CEO Terry Turner said. “For the last 17 years, he’s served as the sure and steady hand at the helm of one of Nashville’s most important major utilities […] On top of all that, he’s a person of principle and a good partner. Decosta is a perfect fit among our directors.”
