The Daytona Beach VA Multispecialty Community Based Outpatient Clinic—also known as the William V. Chappell, Jr. Veterans Outpatient Clinic—is distributing the vaccines to local veterans based on CDC and Veterans Health Administration guidelines. Veterans must also be enrolled and eligible for VA health care benefits and be a patient at the Daytona Beach clinic. At the moment, only veterans aged 65 years old may receive the vaccine. Veterans who are 65 years of age and are considered a frontline worker or part of the high risk category also qualify for a vaccine.
