Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], May 23 (ANI): In view of the spread of COVID-19 in rural areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, on Sunday urged the rural administration to initiate setting up of five-bedded COVID care centres, including one oxygen-supported bed, in every panchayat to provide immediate medical attention to the people.

KKRDB extends financial aid for two oxygen containers

To fight COVID-19, the Kalyana Karnataka Region Development Board (KKRDB) will extend financial assistance for infrastructure related to oxygen support in six districts of the Kalyana Karnataka region, Chairman of KKRDB Dattatreya Patil Revoor has said.
Chairing a meeting to review the COVID-19 situation in Bidar on Wednesday, Mr. Revoor said that the KKRDB will release funds for purchasing two oxygen containers one for Bidar, Kalaburagi and Yadgir districts and the other for Raichur, Ballari and Koppal districts.
The tender process has been initiated and 50% of the amount for purchasing oxygen containers has been released to the saving accounts of the Deputy Commissioners office, Mr. Revoor said.

Blue Dart, a leading express logistics service provider, on Thursday said it formed Blue Dart Med-Express Consortium with a mission of revolutionising the delivery of vaccines and emergency medical supplies to the remotest parts of India using drones. According to a press release from the logistics major, Blue Dart Med-Express Consortium is part of the Medicine from the Sky project in collaboration with the Telangana government, World Economic Forum, Niti Aayog and Healthnet Global.
