HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - On Wednesday morning in Henderson County, a community effort took place to help make sure no one goes hungry.
Henderson Christian Community Outreach was helping to feed the city of Henderson by giving away U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) food boxes. They were full of fruits, vegetables, meat and milk.
The community showed up in full force to help out. Officials say they had more volunteers than needed, and even got help from the Henderson Fire Department.
