Whittlesea residents called on to rate council performance

by Michaela Meade Whittlesea residents are being called on to have their say about the council’s performance over the past year. Independent market research agency, National Field Services, will call 800 residents to measure the community’s perception of the council and the services it delivers, as part of the annual state government Community Satisfaction Survey. Council chief executive Craig Lloyd encouraged residents to participate in the survey if they receive a call. He said the survey would only take about 10 minutes to complete. “We really value our community’s feedback to let us know what’s working well and in what areas we can do better,” Mr Lloyd said.

Community Satisfaction Survey begins

Date Time Community Satisfaction Survey begins Each year, Central Goldfields Shire Council participates in the Victorian Government’s state-wide Local Government Community Satisfaction Survey. Residents and households may receive a telephone phone call from now until March from the independent market research agency, National Field Services asking a number of questions about different services Council provides. The survey is conducted by independent researchers, JWS Research. The survey data provides Council with a local community perspective on Council’s performance in key areas which are important to our community,” Central Goldfields Shire Mayor Cr Chris Meddows-Taylor said. “The Community Satisfaction Survey provides an insight into perceptions on how Council performed over the past year while also showing where Council should focus efforts to make improvements to meet changing community expectations,” he said.

Annual Community Satisfaction Survey

Date Time Annual Community Satisfaction Survey During February, we are conducting Council’s annual Community Satisfaction Survey to help measure community sentiment on a range of our services and facilities as well as other issues of concern in Bayside. We have engaged Metropolis Research to conduct the survey phone interview interviews to get your feedback on how we can improve our performance. Researcher will be call 700 randomly selected households, via landline and mobile, in Bayside to share their experiences. Participation is voluntary however we encourage you to have your say. The survey involves a conversation to truly understand the issues that are important to Bayside residents. It measures residents’ satisfaction with overall performance, services and facilities, planning and development, customer service and planning for population growth, along with other issues.
