SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County, or CAPSLO received a $250,000 grant from Bank of America for their first and only Medically Assisted Withdrawal Treatment Center.
The grant will help build San Luis Obispo County s first and only withdrawal center. The County says around 10 percent of the San Luis Obispo County population struggle with substance use disorder issues and the closest withdrawal facilities are located in Santa Cruz, Fresno and Los Angeles.
The 34 Prado Medically Assisted Withdrawal Treatment Center will be located at CAPSLO’s 40 Prado Homeless Services Center.
