A second suspect has been arrested in connection to the death of a 7-year-old who was shot and killed while she was with her father in a Chicago-area McDonald’s drive-thru, authorities said.
Demond Goudy, 21, was charged with first-degree murder on Tuesday, according to the
Washington Post. He and Marion Lewis, 18, have been charged for their alleged role in the shootingdeaths of Jaslyn Adams, 7, and the shooting of her father, Jontae Adams, on April 18.
Goudy was arrested on Monday on Chicago’s West Side when he surrendered to SWAT officers outside his residence. He is expected to appear for a hearing in Cook County Circuit Court on Wednesday.
