LA GRANGE, IL La Grange, where new coronavirus cases have increased by about 100 each week for two months, saw a hike only half that last week, according to the Cook County Public Health Department.
As of Sunday, La Grange, including La Grange Highlands, had seen 1,450 coronavirus cases, up by 53 from a week earlier, a 3.8 percent increase. This percentage hike is far less than those of the two previous weeks, both of which hovered around 8 percent.

LA GRANGE, IL La Grange is seeing a lower rate of increase in coronavirus cases, but still experiencing about 100 more cases weekly, according to the Cook County Public Health Department.
As of Sunday, La Grange, including La Grange Highlands, had a total of 1,397 cases since the beginning of the pandemic, up 100 from a week earlier.
The three previous weeks saw increases of 99, 135 and 100 coronavirus cases, according to health department numbers.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL A Western Springs restaurant is one of 84 across suburban Cook County to receive citations since last month on charges of violating the governor s indoor dining ban.
Hillgrove Tap, 800 Hillgrove Ave., was sent a citation related to indoor dining Dec. 7, according to a news release from the Cook County Public Health Department. Gov. J.B. Pritzker has ordered a ban on indoor dining, citing an increase in coronavirus cases.

LA GRANGE, IL La Grange saw a lower rate of increase in coronavirus cases in the last week, according to the Cook County Public Health Department.
As of Sunday, La Grange, including La Grange Highlands, had 1,297 virus cases since the beginning of the pandemic, up 8 percent from the week before. This is lower than the two previous weeks increases of 13 percent and 10 percent, respectively.
Since early October, La Grange s cases have increased 166 percent. The number of those who have recovered is unavailable.
