TINLEY PARK, IL The body of a 31-year-old man was found near 178th Street and South Central Avenue in Cook County over the weekend, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner s Office. His death has been ruled a homicide.
Around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Cook County Sheriff s police responded to the 17800 block of South Central Avenue near Tinley Park after a motorist called 911 to report finding the man along the roadway, Press Secretary Matt Walberg told Patch Tuesday evening.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and an autopsy conducted Monday determined the man s death was a homicide from multiple injuries during an assault.

CHICAGO A 31-year-old man was shot and killed walking out of Cook County Jail Saturday night after being released on electronic monitoring, the Chicago Tribune reported. Two women also suffered injuries in the shooting.
Chicago police said the 31-year-old man, identified by the news media as Londre Sylvester, was with a 60-year-old woman around 8:50 p.m. in the 2700 block of West 27th Street, near the Cook County Department of Corrections and just a block from the George Leighton Criminal Courthouse, when two people got out of a car and fired guns, striking them both.

GLENVIEW, IL While few details are known publically regarding a June 29 homicide, the name of the victim has been released. Johnathan Joseph Hacker, 41, of the 500 block Cherry Lane, Glenview, died from multiple gunshot wounds during the early morning hours, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner s Office.
The Cook County Sheriff s Office is investigating the case.
The homicide, which happened at 2:13 a.m., occurred in the 10300 block of Michael Todd Terrace, Unincorporated Glenview. Hacker was pronounced dead at 2:47 a.m.
