AMARAVATI: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy stated that the government took responsibility in providing welfare schemes for all sections despite the looming pandemic conditions and stood by the public welfare.
During the motion of thanks to the Governor s address, the Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to transparent, accountable and corruption-free governance and said that the manifesto is like a Holy Book and added that his government has fulfilled over 95 percent of its promises, taking welfare to the doorstep of the beneficiary with no corruption or discrimination. He stated that in the last 23 months the State government had directly credited Rs 93,708 crore in to the beneficiaries accounts and indirectly spent over Rs 31,714 crore on schemes of sampoorna poshana, free power to farmers, Goru Muddha and many more, totalling to Rs 1.25 lakh crores.

Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath tabled the 2021-22 budget at Rs 2,29,779.27 crore.The revenue expenditure was estimated at Rs 1.73 lakh crore with revenue deficit pegged at Rs 5,000 crore and fiscal deficit at Rs 37,029 crore.The Assembly will also pass a resolution opposing the Centre s plans to privatise the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant at the end of the session

VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has, in a first-of-its-kind gesture, released for public knowledge a government calendar detailing the implementation schedules of the state’s welfare schemes for the 2021-2022 fiscal.

Chief Minister Sri YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has extended his hearty greetings to women on the occasion of International Women s Day (IWD).
Empowerment of women economically, socially and politically has been the focus of the State government, the Chief Minister said.
During the past 21 months the state has rolled out various schemes for women welfare from Amma Vodi to YSR Cheyutha, YSR Asara, Kapu Nestham, house sites in the name of woman of the household, YSR Sampoorna Poshana, 50 percent reservations in nominated posts and works, Disha Bill and special courts for speedy trial of crimes aganist women among others.
