The world watched as the MV Ever Given remained stuck in the Suez Canal between March 23 and 29. The ultra-large 20,000-TEU vessel was in the middle of its voyage from the Port of Tanjung Pelepas in Malaysia to the Port of Rotterdam, Netherlands, when, according to the vessel operators, strong winds made it run aground. Its 430-yard-long hull nestled obliquely along both edges of the narrow canal.

Belarus, China s Sinotrans Limited agree to develop export of logistics services
MINSK, 2 February (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Yuri Senko has met with Chairman of the Board of Sinotrans Limited Li Guanpeng, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in China.
The parties focused on topical issues of bilateral cooperation, including development of the international railway terminal in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone and cooperation in the organization of container transportation between China and Europe via Belarus.
The ambassador expressed gratitude to the company for its comprehensive assistance in logistic support of the shipment of medical humanitarian goods from China to Belarus. The parties defined further areas of interaction to stimulate investment activity and develop the export of logistics services.
