Saratoga Sheriff: Schenectady, Mechanicville men raped 16-year-old in Malta, recorded it on their phones | The Daily Gazette SECTIONS Shares0 MALTA – Men from Schenectady and Mechanicville raped a 16-year-old girl in a Malta hotel room and recorded it on their phones, Saratoga County Sheriff’s officials said. Vincent Avila, 21, of Keyes Avenue, Schenectady, and Michael T. May, 25, of Sparrow Drive, Mechanicville, were each arrested this past week and charged with one count each of felony use of a child in a sexual performance and third-degree rape, as well as misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child, officials said. Avila is also charged with third-degree criminal sexual act, a felony, and petit larceny.
