Hearing an urgent plea to ensure supply of medical oxygen, the Delhi High Court on Thursday directed the central government to immediately implement the Centre s allocation order whereby Delhi is supposed to get 480 metric tonnes of medical oxygen.

Delhi Hospital Oxygen News: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Thursday released a list of private and government hospital running low on oxygen supply. Sisodia, in his letter addressed to Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan, said that while some hospitals have a few hours of oxygen supply left, supply at six private ones has dried up.Â
Rathi Hospital, Santom Hospital, Saroj Super Speciality Hospital, Shanti Mukand, Tirath Ram Shah Hospital, and UK Nursing Home have exhausted their supply of oxygen.

Oxygen completely out of stock at some Delhi hospitals: Manish Sisodia
Delhi s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has said that some hospitals in the city are running out of oxygen completely and that they have no options left. Sisodia said that the city government has been making internal arrangement for now, but it will become tough to save lives after some time.Â
He alleged that some states trying to take control of national capital s share of medical oxygen. UP, Haryana cops blocking Delhi s oxygen supply, the AAP leader said and urged the Centre to ensure supply even if that requires taking paramilitary help.

New Delhi [India], April 22 (ANI): Saroj Hospital, Rohini has approached Delhi High Court seeking urgent directions to the Centre and Delhi Government to facilitate an urgent critical oxygen supply to the hospital.
The plea states that Saroj Super Specialty hospital was recently declared as one of the 14 COVID-19 nominated hospitals to provide all the beds in the hospital for COVID patients in Delhi. The supply of Liquid Medical Oxygen has been very erratic and irregular with only 4 - 6 hours supply being made by the Vendor, i.e. INOX, which also reaches the Hospital only when the Oxygen in the tank is at the brink, the plea states.
