BBC article explains that after Genghis’ death he was “buried in secret.” His grieving army carried his body home, killing anyone they met “to hide the route.” Then, once the Khan’s body was finally laid to rest, 1,000 horses were marched over his grave to destroy any remaining traces. And then all of those horsemen were killed when they returned. This plan worked, apparently. For over the 800 years since Genghis Khan ’s death not one of the thousands of researchers who have looked for his lost tomb have unearthed so much as a horseshoe.
In the almost 800 years since his death, no one has yet discovered the tomb of Genghis Khan, but not for want of trying. (

EXPERTS say although cough is the most common symptom of COVID-19 seen at the treatment centres in Lagos State, difficulty in breathing is the strongest predictor that any individual with this infection may end up dying as a result.
The experts had reviewed the first 2,184 patients at the nine isolation and COVID-19 treatment centres in Lagos and found that cough (19.3 per cent) was the most common presenting symptom. This was followed by fever (13.7 per cent) and difficulty in breathing, (10.9 per cent). Also, there was headaches (7.3 per cent), weakness (6.3 per cent), loss of sense of smell and taste (4.9 per cent) and throat irritation (4.9 per cent).

The deaths of well-loved figures and people of legend from history tend to be exaggerated somewhat.
Take for example Grigori Rasputin, who – according to popular belief and the song by Boney M – was slipped poison inside his wine and cake, before merely getting up and eating more cake and wine. At this point, he was said to have been shot in the heart, but carried on walking around until he was finally drowned.
Quite why this account has taken hold in collective memory is bizarre, given that this was the account of his assassin Yussupov, who had merely shot him and made up the rest in his memoir, likely in order to make it sound more heroic than he came in and I shot him with a gun .
