Farmers, Centre will hold 10th round of talks today
Ahead of talks, the BKU has warned that they ‘will no move till farm laws are repealed’
New Delhi: On behalf of thousands of farmers protesting against Centre’s three controversial farm laws, farmer union leaders and the central government will hold the tenth round of talks on Wednesday to resolve all issues, including the continuance of the MSP system.
The central government had earlier postponed the 10th round of scheduled talks with the protesting farmers` representatives to January 20. Today’s meeting will be held at the Vigyan Bhavan at 2 PM.
Hearing pleas on the issue of farmers protest at Delhi borders and the Centre's plea against the proposed tractor rally or any other kind of protest, the Supreme Court said that the court "doesn't want to be subject of maligning" and that it "can't base verdicts on public opinion".

The Supreme Court on Wednesday expressed strong displeasure at the manner in which the farmers unions had cast unnecessary aspersions on the Committee members and said that the Supreme Court does not appreciate branding people like this .
Meanwhile, central government has also withdrawn its petition seeking an injunction against the proposed tractor rally by farmers on the Republic Day after the apex court said it was police matter.
