The aim is to provide Californians tools to fight back against fraud and scams.   Global Issues Series focuses on Burma The United Nations Association of Pomona Valley and the Pomona College International Relations Program present “Burma: A Personal Perspective,” as experienced by Swapan Nag over Zoom at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 18. Mr. Nag is CEO of Nag, Inc., a technology development company focused mainly on solutions for the public sector, including agencies such as NASA, JPL/Caltech, FAA, DHS and the US State Department.

AVR Program Intern

Duty Station Proposed Duration Learning Objectives Working under the direct supervision of the Sr. Monitoring and Partnership Officer and under the overall guidance of the Chief of Mission, the intern will assist with the Assisted Voluntary Return Programs (AVR) related support for AVR programs in Mexico, and North of Central American Countries. The objective of the Assisted Voluntary Return Programs is to contribute to the dignified, safe and voluntary return and provide humanitarian support to migrants who are considering voluntary return options. This program will be built upon the vision, principles and objectives in IOM’s Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration (AVRR) framework and IOM’s Humanitarian Principles for Action. Furthermore, all assistance will be provided according to IOM’s internal guidelines and policies.
