Wife of Boxing Legend Marvin Hagler Says Death Not Caused by CCP Virus Vaccine
The wife of Marvelous Marvin Hagler said her husband’s recent death was not due to the COVID-19 vaccine, refuting claims spreading on social media the legendary fighter died after taking the jab.
“I was the only person close to him until the last minute, and I am the only person that know[s] how things went not even his family know all the details and I do NOT accept to read some stupid comment without knowing really what happen,” Kay G. Hagler, the wife of the 66-year-old professional boxer and actor wrote in a statement on Facebook.
CONWAY â Retired middleweight champion Marvelous Marvin Hagler, who died last Saturday at his Bartlett home at age 66, was remembered as one of the valleyâs own after the famous boxer first started coming here in the early 1980s, then bought a home in Bartlett in 1985.
âAs far as Iâm concerned, he was the valleyâs celebrity,â is how Terry OâBrien, co-owner of the Red Parka Steakhouse and Pub in Glen, summed up Hagler.
Bartlett Police Chief Christopher Keaton said police logs show that Hagler was transported by Bartlett-Jackson Ambulance Services from his home near Attitash to North Conwayâs Memorial Hospital on Friday evening.

Former heavyweight champion Larry Holmes is joining three other boxing-related investors to buy into the New York–based One With Life Organic Tequila company.
The company, which was founded by former New York assistant district attorney and boxing promoter Lisa Elovich, now is co-owned by Holmes of Palmer Township. Other co-owners are Teofimo Lopez, the current unified lightweight world champion and the youngest four-belt champion in the history of boxing and Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini, a lightweight Hall of Famer.
