The airport of Yemen s second city Aden re-opened Sunday, days after 26 people were killed there in deadly blasts apparently targeting the country s new government.
A plane of the national carrier Yemenia from Khartoum was the first to land Sunday as services resumed after Wednesday s explosions which occurred as cabinet minister arrived from Saudi Arabia.

(Bloomberg) A Saudi-led military coalition pounded facilities of Houthi rebels accused of a deadly assault on a Yemen airport, as the official toll from the attack climbed to 25 dead and 110 wounded.
Health Minister Qasem Buhabeh said the number of dead is likely to increase because some of the wounded are in critical condition. The airport in the southern port city of Aden was attacked on Wednesday as a new cabinet flew in from Saudi Arabia.
A deputy minister of public works was killed, and two other vice ministers were among the wounded, according to the government-run Saba news agency. Three members of the International Committee for the Red Cross were also among the dead.

The International Committee for the Red Cross describes itself as “an impartial, neutral and independent organization whose exclusively humanitarian mission is to protect the lives and dignity of victims of armed conflict and other situations of violence and to provide them with assistance.”
So why is this allegedly “impartial, neutral and independent organization” running a PR campaign on Twitter in which it singles out the Israeli-made hit Netflix show

A large explosion struck the airport in the southern Yemeni city of Aden, shortly after a plane carrying the newly formed Cabinet landed there, security officials said. At least 22 people were killed and 50 were wounded in the blast. The source of the explosion was not immediately clear and no group claimed responsibility for attacking the airport. No one on the government plane was hurt. Officials later reported another explosion close to a palace in the city where the Cabinet members were transferred following the airport attack. And the Saudi-led coalition later shot down a bomb-laden drone that attempted to target the palace, according to Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya TV channel.
