Sebastian Coe rushed to see a surgeon after a doctor listening to him on the Today programme was worried his voice had gone gravelly . Lord Coe, 64, was being interviewed on BBC Radio 4 just before Christmas, when a listener got in touch to voice their concerns. The retired GP said she was very concerned, for the Team GB hero and president of World Athletics, adding that his voice sounds very gravelly .
