An app, called Kriżi, has been launched by Crisis Resolution Malta (CRM). This is Malta’s first suicide and self-harm prevention app.
The app is designed to portray logical, easy to follow steps that work on bringing the person to safety, provide rescue plans, get information, or even chat in a private space, instilling security and a drive to view life in a more positive light, whilst empathising and providing support throughout the ordeal. It also provides practical advice to both the person in crisis and to the loved ones who need clear guidance on how to manage such crises.
