Unfortunately, it takes a lot longer to grow a tree than it does for bad weather to take one down, a harsh reality for two Saskatchewan communities hit hard by last weekend’s intense spring storm.
“It’s really heartbreaking to see all of these trees go down,” said Strasbourg town administrator Jennifer Josephson, lamenting that their town park was particularly hard hit by the high winds and frozen rain.
