. 19:23 | Lima, May. 18. Peru has embarked on an international tourism promotion strategy at full speed with the announcement of three pieces of great news for the sector. They include the country s participation at this year s FITUR International Tourism Trade Fair in Spain, one of the largest in the world; Peru s first place at Global Big Day, an international bird counting competition; and the launch of the international campaign Awaken to Peru, which has received a very good response. In the case of FITUR 2021, due to be held on May 19-23, Peru s Exports and Tourism Promotion Board (PromPeru) has set up a stall to promote the country s outstanding segments, such as adventure and nature tourism, as well as culture and gastronomy.
