Library : The Saints Ceaselessly

Description Following the Easter celebrations, Pope Francis on April 7, 2021, continued his catechesis on Christian prayer during the General Audience, focusing this week on the Communion of Saints. Sport s role in pandemic recovery in focus as IDSDP marked

Tuesday, 6 April 2021 The International Judo Federation (IJF), International Skating Union (ISU) and World Rugby are among the International Federations to have marked International Day of Sport for Development and Peace (IDSDP). IDSDP has been marked on April 6 each year since 2014, having been established by the United Nations (UN) to recognise the power of sport to foster social inclusion and peace. The event has the backing of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and April 6 was chosen as that was the first day of the first Olympic Games of modern times, held in Athens in 1896. The IJF marked IDSDP this year by creating a portal for the judo community to upload images with a white card.
