Due to an increasing drive for sustainability, palm oil producers are becoming ever more conscious of efficiency. For this, tank measurement is critical. Senix's ToughSonic sensors allow for accurate and efficient level measurement.
Perstorp launches renewable raw material based DPHP plasticizer 6:02 AM, 18th May 2021 Perstorp s Emoltene(tm) 100 Pro is formulated with renewable and recycled raw materials, reducing the carbon dioxide emission throughout the value chain.
MALMO, SWEDEN: Perstorp said it launched a dipropylheptyl phthalate (DPHP) designed general-purpose plasticizer - Emoltene(tm) 100 Pro - to pioneer in the PVC market. The new plasticizer is partly based on renewable raw material using a traceable mass balance concept and is formulated with recycled raw materials, reducing the carbon dioxide emission throughout the value chain.
Facilitating uncomplicated adoption by users, Emoltene 100 Pro is ready to be dropped straight into existing flexible PVC formulations.
(Air Nostrum (Google Translation)) The airline will use a mixture made from plant-based materials to move the team after their match in Seville Valencia CF flies on biofuel. The team is the protagonist of the first flight that Air Nostrum will carry out with sustainable fuel (SAF, in its acronym in English Sustainable Aviation Fuel).
Both entities maintain a close relationship over time and proof of this is the themed plane to mark the 100th anniversary of Valencia CF with which the team regularly travels and with which the first flight with biofuel will be carried out.
Air Nostrum (the team’s regular carrier) and Valencia CF agreed that it would be this league displacement in which they would use for the first time this biofuel that uses a mixture made with materials of plant origin.

Montauk’s ability to enter into this Agreement was due to being selected through an October 2020 RFP award for a portion of its RNG production based on then current pricing of RNG and attribute model trends at the time of bid. The award was contingent on registration of proposed production facilities under the International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (“ISCC”), an international certification system covering a multitude of bio-based feedstocks and renewables catering to energy, food, feed, and chemical sectors. Montauk earlier announced successful registration of three of its RNG production facilities whose production may be now used to meet mandatory targets for the use of renewable energy i

First delivery of pyrolysis oil for polymer production at the LyondellBasell site in Wesseling, Germany
LyondellBasell has taken another step towards its ambition to advance the circular economy by making virgin quality polymers from raw materials derived from plastics waste at its Wesseling, Germany, site.
Produced by the thermal conversion of plastics waste, this raw material is converted into ethylene and propylene in the LyondellBasell production facilities, and then processed into PP and PE in the downstream units for plastics production.
The first use of raw material derived from plastics waste follows the company’s successful production of plastics materials made from renewable-based raw materials such as used cooking oil, which helps to reduce carbon dioxide over the product life cycle and reduce the use of fossil-based raw materials.
