Jdigital enhances Spanish betting integrity with IBIA partnership Share
Jdigital, the Spanish online gambling trade body, having reached a memorandum of understanding.
Under the terms of the partnership, the two organisations will work to develop a framework for cooperation and coordination.
Additionally, the partners will organise projects aimed at promoting regulated betting markets with high consumer channelling and associated consumer, sports and operator integrity protection measures.

The Thoroughbred Idea Foundation (TIF) will launch “Wagering Insecurity,” a multi-part series which will examine the current state of oversight of North American Thoroughbred racing and wagering, beginning Tuesday, April 13.
In the aftermath of the infamous “Fix Six” at the 2002 Breeders Cup, the American racing industry pledged millions of dollars to improve the monitoring of pari-mutuel betting and create a central office to oversee wagering security. While plenty was spent, the oversight never materialized. Vulnerabilities still exist, late odds changes impact many races and transparency is nowhere to be found.
Kindred Group completes the acquisition of Blancas NV

Kindred Group has on 1 April 2021 completed the previously announced acquisition of 100% of the shares in Blankenberge Casino-Kursaal (Blancas) NV, which operates Casino Blankeberge in Belgium, from the Rank Group Plc.
Kindred Group entered into an agreement on 29 October 2020 to acquire 100% of the shares in Blancas NV from The Rank Group Plc. Blancas NV is the license holder and operator of Casino Blankenberge, which is one of the nine land-based casinos operating in Belgium. Blancas NV recently successfully renewed its casino licences with the Belgian Gaming Commission as well as the concession agreement with the city of Blankenberge for a 15-year period which started in January 2021.
